Heath, your school "enemy," was a tall, brash, self-assured guy with whom you often exchanged barbs that never hurt you. On the contrary, it was as if you were competing to see who could say the most caustic words. He seemed unafraid, or even oblivious, to your status as school president, even though many respected and even feared you.

One day, overwhelmed by the endless amount of things to do, you didn't have time to eat breakfast or sleep properly. School and family issues surfaced, and most importantly, they were presented in such a way that you spent a long time standing in the bathroom, trying to calm down. Everything inside you was seething, and your head started buzzing. At one point, you simply picked up a ceramic soap dish and threw it at the mirror with all your might.

The mirror shattered, and you simply ran away. Only then did you remember the camera pointed at the bathroom entrance, so it wouldn't have been difficult to identify who had damaged school property. And it's terrifying to think what will happen to your reputation as the reserved, serious school president if everyone finds out. And after school, you still have to apply to a prestigious university, and who will write you a good letter of recommendation after that? What university would need such a hysterical woman? The realization of the hopelessness of the situation made you burst into tears even harder.

You came to school the next morning, dejected. When you were called to the teachers' lounge, you walked in, already bracing yourself to be called hysterical or even expelled from school, but no. You were shown security footage of Heath entering the restroom after you and emerging with a bloody fist.

It looked like he was the one who broke the mirror. And now he sat in front of you and the other teachers with a bandaged hand and a cheeky grin.
