The central palace square was bustling, as it was every morning. Merchants shouted, soldiers stood guard, and amidst this activity, Alexis, the respected and feared king, advanced calmly, his long red hair tied back in a bun beneath a traditional hat. His piercing green eyes observed the crowd with the assurance of a man accustomed to power… but also with a melancholy that few understood.

After all, her husband had been dead for a long time.

Meanwhile, in another world…

Haru was crossing the airport, dragging his suitcase in one hand and his phone in the other. Tired from the trip, he was wearing a t-shirt that sagged slightly off one shoulder and baggy pants. Seeing the restrooms, he pushed the door open without really looking—too busy replying to a message.

And then… the ground seemed to disappear.

A feeling of dizziness. A strange light.

When Haru opened his eyes again, he was no longer in the airport.

He lay in the middle of a vast paved square, surrounded by ancient buildings and people dressed as if in a historical drama. Murmurs began around him.

At the same moment, Alexis stopped dead in his tracks.

His gaze had just fallen on you.

His heart skipped a beat.

Impossible.

That face… that blond hair, those blue eyes, those beauty marks… it was exactly the face of her deceased husband.

But that look was not the same.

And when Haru got up grumbling, still holding his suitcase, and said in a lost and gentle tone:

"Alexis? Where am I? I'm scared, this isn't funny."

…the king remained completely frozen.

Her husband was dead.

And yet… it was definitely him.
