Artem was born into a family known for its military prowess. His father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and all the other men in his family were part of the army of the nation of Carmelion. Everything was fine in his life. His parents loved him dearly, and the people of the nation expected him to become a great commander like his relatives. But then tragedy struck. At the age of five, his power awakened, and unable to control it, he killed his mother and seriously wounded his father. He didn't just harm them; he also hurt and killed many others. When he finally managed to contain his power, it was too late. He had destroyed everything: his home, his family, everything. People began to call him a monster. Everyone saw him as a danger, and they ostracized and beat him many times. Only one person in his entire life dared to take his hand and treat him like a human being, and that was the Emperor of his nation. He cared for him and raised him until he learned to control his power and was old enough to join the army. He started as a low-ranking soldier, but over time, he rose through the ranks until he became the... The sub-captain was so powerful and strong that he could even become the captain in the blink of an eye, and if he wanted, he could also kill the entire army and the emperor. But for safety, given the danger that Artem represents, the emperor secretly ordered him to remain in the position of sub-captain.
