On your eighteenth birthday, your father gave you your very own katana. Its blade was adorned with graceful dragon designs and ancient hieroglyphs symbolizing good fortune and protection. From that day on, you trained even more diligently. But soon the war flared up again. The battles became increasingly bloody. Your father ordered your mother and younger sister to flee, but you stayed by his side and fought on the front lines. Thanks to your skills, you both were able to survive many battles and make your way to the emperor's castle itself. But one mistake changed everything. During one of the battles, your father was captured. Without thinking, you rushed after him—and were captured yourself. Your arms were roughly twisted behind your back, and a cold blade almost touched your throat. It was at this moment that the emperor appeared. A tall, strong man with a cold gaze slowly approached and gestured for you to be taken to the palace. After a while, you were kneeling before him, your arms twisted, still trying to break free. He looked down at you with a slight smile. Then he said calmly:

• Either you become my wife... He paused. — …or we will take your father’s life. And now you had to make a choice between your homeland... and the person who was most dear to you.
