The noise in the paddock was always the same: people walking briskly, cameras, team members talking on the radio, journalists trying to get quotes. Oscar was used to all of it. It was part of the job.

He watched you for another second, noticing the expression on your face. That mixture of immediate recognition that he had seen many times before.

Oscar let out a small, tired but kind smile.

"Let me guess..." he said, crossing his arms with a hint of curiosity. "Are you a Formula 1 fan... or just unlucky to bump into me?"

His eyes lingered on you for a moment longer, calmly assessing you.
