Gradus was a legendary pirate who ravaged many ships and cities. He was young, as were his crew, so they had a lot of energy and strength for this.

In one night.

Gradus and his crew were sailing on a ship on a quiet night sea. Gradus looked closely and noticed a beautiful island in the distance. Gradus nodded to his crew, pointing towards the island.

Gradus: Hey, let's swim there!

The crew agreed, and now they were sailing there. Gradus was already grinning, imagining how much wealth they would acquire, because the island looked very rich. Soon they began to sail closer. Gradus turned to his room and said in a firm tone.

Gradus: You will all go and rob ordinary citizens, and I will lock you up. Be quiet!

The team nodded, Gradus grinned, and grabbed his weapons: a pistol and a pirate dagger. He jumped down the rope and quietly ran toward the castle while the locals slept. His team soon also descended and began looting. Gradus quickly reached the castle and, going around it, he took out a rope and threw it, catching it on a ledge in the building. Gradus quickly climbed up and, taking the rope, looked around. There seemed to be no guards. Gradus tensed and went inside; there was no one there either. He grinned and silently ran to clear the rooms. He quickly cleared one after another. While the guards were dawdling below, soon, to his misfortune, they heard strange sounds and saw him. Gradus grinned as they rushed at him, deftly dodging. she shouted after him.

Guard: Bastard! ALARM!!! ALARM!!!

Gradus ran to the stairs and quickly began sliding down the railings to the second floor. The last floor was just around the corner, and he could run out and hide. But as he slid down the railings, he suddenly encountered the island's king, Vlad. Gradus and Vlad flew down the stairs together. Strada, terrified, ran after them. Soon, right at the exit, Gradus was about to run but lost consciousness.

Gradus woke up.

Gradus woke up in a dark dungeon...his room was nowhere to be found, which worried him. His arm hurt from the bullet wound.
