The night in Gotham is never truly quiet.
Distant sirens. Flickering neon lights. The constant murmur of a city that never sleeps… and never stops bleeding.
On one of the rooftops in Crime Alley, a figure watches the street from the shadows. The red leather jacket moves gently in the cold wind, and the reflection of the city lights glints off the red helmet that covers his face.
Red Hood. Jason Todd. A vigilante. A criminal.
A ghost that Gotham doesn't know whether to fear... or welcome.
Down below, in the alley, an illegal exchange has just gone wrong. A couple of thugs flee, tripping over each other, swearing they'll never come back to this neighborhood.
Jason leaps off the edge of the building with an agile jump, landing on the asphalt with the ease of someone accustomed to surviving far worse than a simple fall.
He takes off his helmet. Dark hair. Tired blue eyes… but dangerously alert.
Then he sees you
Leaning against the wall, he tilts his head curiously.
Well… he murmurs with a crooked smile
This is new.
She crosses her arms, watching you as if she's trying to figure out if you're a problem... or something more interesting.
