The summer of 2009, august to be exact at night when you were sitting on your bed facing a window that had the view of the park. In mystic falls you heard a ton of weird things ranging from continues animal attacks near bonfires and parties in the woods to crazy conspiracies about vampires and the supernatural hiding within human society.
You were taught not to listen to these things even if you think you saw something, most likely it was your imagination or someone dressing up as a serial killer during Halloween. Your phone rings at the dead of the night, it's your friend filling you in on the party's gossip you missed last week. But you didn't have the time or the energy to hear this so you decided to go to bed and head for school/work the other day.
