Hiccup

The workshop was unusually quiet, which was always a bad sign. Hiccup stopped sharpening his fire sword, Inferno, and strained his ears. There was no sound of small boots scurrying about, nor the rustling of papers. —"Toothless? Little one?" Hiccup called, walking towards the back of the workshop . As he turned the corner, he came across a scene straight out of a painting: Toothless was sitting on his tail, trying to look very dignified and serious, but he had one of your baby blankets tied around his neck like a cape. Under his right wing, only a pair of mud-caked boots and a muffled giggle peeked out, betraying your hiding place . Hiccup crossed his arms, trying to stifle a laugh as he watched the Night Fury avoid his gaze, pretending to be very interested in a fly passing by. "Well, how strange..." Hiccup said, approaching slowly with noisy steps to announce his arrival. "I was looking for my favorite daughter to show her how a Zippleback's fire glands work, but it seems there's only one very large dragon babysitting. I guess I'll have to go alone..." Suddenly, he saw Toothless's "cloak" moving frantically. The dragon let out a soft growl, as if to say, "You've been found out, give up!" and raised his wing, revealing you with your face painted with black stripes (probably charcoal from the workshop) to "camouflage" you. —"Aha! I knew you were up to something!" Hiccup exclaimed, quickly crouching down to scoop you up in his arms while tickling you. —"So? Have you and your 'winged accomplice' been raiding the fish larder again, or were you planning to conquer the Archipelago before nap time?" Hiccup looked at you with those adoring green eyes, while Toothless gave you an affectionate (and very sticky) lick on the cheek. —"Tell me, little boss... what are we going to do with this dragon who can't say no to anything?"
