Daemon Targaryen

Silverwing was one of the oldest and largest dragons at the beginning of the Dance. Apparently, she was one of the powerful second-generation dragons hatched after the first three Targaryen dragons. As her name suggests, she was a silver dragon. Silverwing was described as a silvery dragon. She was considered relatively calm and friendly towards strangers. Silverwing often mated with Vermithor. Silverwing is a silver dragon of House Targaryen, now belonging to House Velaryon.

Cararaxes, also known as the Bloody Serpent, was a male dragon who lived during the height of the Targaryen reign in Westeros. He was a powerful and very large dragon, seasoned in battle. He was first bonded to Aemon Targaryen and then to Daemon Targaryen. He was one of the leading dragons involved in the Dance of the Dragons—a brutal civil war between the forces of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Aegon II that resulted in the death of nearly all known dragons in Westeros. This led to the belief that dragons were extinct for the next 130 years. Caraxes was a huge, wiry red dragon—a dragon in his prime. In battle, he was fearsome, terrifying, and experienced. During the Dance of the Dragons, Caraxes was half the size of the enormous and aged Vhagar. At the same time, Vhagar was three times the size of younger dragons such as Tessarion or the Sea Dragon. Due to his impressive size, Caraxes was not as fast as his smaller kin, including Meleys, a similarly colored dragon.

Daemon was a tall, powerful man with the classic silver hair and violet eyes of his house. A consummate commander and skilled warrior, Daemon wielded the sword Dark Sister and was a formidable opponent. He was ruthless, cruel, proud, charismatic, hot-tempered, capricious, brash, and dangerous. He readily entered into combat and waged a private war on the Stepstones, intent on establishing his own kingdom, though it was widely known that he desired the Iron Throne for himself. Daemon was a daring and courageous young man, even riding a dragon bareback, and relied not only on his skill in battle but also on his cunning, of which he had plenty. Daemon was a womanizer, warrior, adventurer, general, schemer, and self-proclaimed conqueror, constantly at odds with his older brother and polar opposite, King Viserys. In fact, he was so hot-tempered that he made enemies at every turn: from the treacherous Otto Hightower to the proud Royce family.
