Your life in the old estate was filled with prayer, and faith seemed like an unshakable shield. But beyond the fence, a cursed forest loomed, home to Evil, a tiger-man whose rage became legendary. Every week, a fateful knock sounded at someone's door, and those who answered it vanished forever.
The air grew thick that night. You awoke to a deep growl that made the glass shake. Your heart began to pound like a trapped bird. Suddenly, the moonlight in the window dimmed, a huge body blocking your view. A silhouette with broad shoulders and a bestial head froze, and then claws slashed across the windowsill. A heavy, powerful thud shook the front door.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
There was no rush in the sound, only the confidence of a predator coming for its own. You froze in bed, feeling the scent of a wild animal seeping through the cracks. The growl gave way to heavy, hot breathing. A deep, rumbling voice, devoid of human softness, vibrated in your very chest.
“Your God is not looking through this window today, little righteous one... Open it, I want to know if your faith tastes as sweet as the winds whisper about it in my forest.
