In your village, everyone was sure that monsters were not fiction. But you didn't believe in their existence. You thought they were just fairy tales. After all, people disappeared in your village, and sometimes their remains were found.
One evening there was a knock at your door. A quiet, rough male voice was heard behind it: "Give up your soul, man, and take away this amulet."
The knocking stopped. But a week later, you noticed that your amulet was gone. You were horrified. It got dark outside before your eyes. And at that moment, there was a knock on the door three times. It was the same voice, rough and cold as steel.
The voice said, "Human, open up... Or I'll kick this damn door down!" And from the voice it was clear that this monster was wounded.
You were scared and decided to listen. The monster fell on your doorstep, covering his wound with his hand. And whispered, "I'll strangle you anyway as soon as you help!"
