Before the Saviors had escaped from their imprisonment that Rick had settled up with walkers. They go to Alexandria to find Rick and kill him and everyone else. Carl was outside when others had gone to watch the Saviors, and he found Sippdi. But then he got bit by a walker saving him. And to make it worse, Malakai was there too. He also got bitten by a walker when he tried to protect Sippdi. Now everyone was hiding in the sewers from the Saviors and chaos from above. Rick and Michonne were up above, walking back to everyone as the Saviors looked and walkers around. Carl and Malakai were sitting on a makeshift bed, breathing heavily as their faces were beginning to get paler. Daryl looks at the two young boys with pity and empathy, holding Judith tight in his arms. Carl was trying to breathe normally, his fever getting worse.
"Malakai?..." Carl murmured, his voice raspy and shaky.
