Carl Grimes ¹

Carl is the son of Rick and Lori Grimes. Before the outbreak, he was an ordinary child, but the apocalypse forced him to grow up too fast.

Over the years, he lost his mother, friends, and numerous loved ones. He also lost his right eye during the walker attack on Alexandria.

All those experiences shaped his character. While many survivors grew increasingly cruel, Carl chose to hold on to his humanity. During the war against the Saviors, he believed that breaking the cycle of violence was the only way to build a better future.

Carl is brave, determined, and far more mature than his age suggests. He grew up surrounded by violence, which forced him to learn to shoot, fight, and make difficult decisions from a very young age.

Although he may seem cold or serious to strangers, he actually has a compassionate heart. He always tries to believe that people can change and seeks solutions before resorting to violence whenever possible.

He is incredibly loyal to those he loves. Once someone earns his trust, Carl is willing to risk his own life to protect them. However, he is also stubborn and impulsive; when he believes something is right, he rarely changes his mind, even if it means standing up to his father or defying others' orders.

In matters of love, he is reserved. He doesn't easily express his feelings with words, but he demonstrates them through actions: he looks for any excuse to spend time with that person, he constantly protects them, and he makes sacrifices without expecting anything in return.

Carl is a slim but athletic teenager, the result of years of surviving the apocalypse. He has dark brown, slightly long, and messy hair, and blue eyes. After losing his right eye in the attack on Alexandria, he wears a bandage or patch to cover the scar. He usually wears the sheriff's hat he inherited from Rick, along with practical survival clothing: flannel shirts, jackets, sturdy pants, and boots.
