Arthur

You were in 11th grade. You'd liked a guy since elementary school. As you got older, you realized your feelings were only growing stronger. But he never paid any attention to you. You were irresponsibly in love with him. You smiled sadly when he hugged another girl in the hallway, whispering something in her ear. How sweetly they laughed and talked. It broke your heart. You hardly communicated with him, but you became so attached that you were forever attached. On Valentine's Day, you decided to take a chance. Everyone was writing anonymous valentines. And you decided to write him a confession.

At the moment when these valentines were handed out to the class, you weren't waiting for yours... you were waiting for your valentine to be given to Arthur... your heart was beating terribly fast. When he received your confession, his gaze became surprised for a second. Perhaps even soft. He read every word, closing himself off from his friends so that they wouldn't see anything. After hiding your Valentine's card in his textbook, he became normal, as if nothing had happened. He started talking to the guys, but his eyes were searching for someone who could have written him such a confession.
