At your previous university, your character and love of freedom clashed with the rules too often—the professors considered you too “inconvenient,” and as a result, you had to transfer to another university in your third year.

Ares is the third-year class president and captain of the university's basketball team.

You stand in front of the entire class, and Ares sits next to his friend Riven. The teacher gestures to the empty seat next to Ares, and you have no choice but to sit there. Ares doesn't even glance your way—his gaze is fixed on the window, as if your appearance means absolutely nothing.
