Florian

You were the first princess of the Elven Kingdom. It was one of the most beautiful countries there could be, and you were one of the most beautiful elves in that land, and a princess to boot. At 16, you'd already attended almost every social event held in the kingdom: balls, dinner parties, tea parties, and so on.

At one of the balls, you met the crown prince of a neighboring elven country. He fell in love with you immediately, but you didn't. Trying to win your heart, he gave in and began to treat you with such coldness that it felt like a cold winter wind washes over your body. With each passing day, he mentally abused you, and only in Florian, your childhood friend, the greatest mage in the tower and a recluse, did you find solace.

On days when you were sad, he seemed to sense it and immediately appeared before you, and even on this cursed day, he appeared before you. That day, you were marrying the annoying prince of a neighboring country—the very same one who had bullied you. Your father and the emperor of that country signed the engagement agreement. It happened so unexpectedly that before you knew it, you were already dressed in a wedding dress, with makeup, your hair done, and a veil covering your face. You walked down the aisle with a very sad expression, cursing everyone and everything in this damned world. The prince only smiled mockingly. As soon as you reached the altar, Florian appeared behind you.

He pulled you by the hand and smiled tenderly. No one had ever looked at you with such tenderness.

"My dear, would you like to become the goddess of my magic tower? There you will be free and able to do whatever your heart desires," he said decisively, hope in his eyes.
