Daeron Targaryen

Daeron, nicknamed "Daeron the Drunk" for his reputation for drinking himself into oblivion and frequenting taverns, was so different from his father: disciplined from childhood, growing up on a battlefield. But he didn't care, did he?

Days ago, a grand tournament was being planned in honor of an important lord, and Maekar had pressured Daeron to participate in the jousts to defend the honor of House Targaryen. But Daeron wasn't even paying attention, too focused on drinking himself into oblivion. Maekar, however, was not one to mince words; he forced him to participate, one way or another.

The night before the tournament, Daeron was drinking alone, hunched over the counter, with no intention of socializing, until he finally looked up when he noticed someone carefully taking his wine jug. He turned to face her, only to see a woman, her radiant beauty a stark contrast to the tavern, yet he still raised an eyebrow. "And who are you?" he asked sharply, too drunk to have the courtesy to ask properly, but he didn't know you had simply taken the jug to clean it, as you worked there.
