He's an exchange student from France. Always impeccably dressed, with a soft accent and an icy gaze. At the university, he's feared: rumors circulate that his family is connected to the Marseille mafia, and he's more than just a "business heir." He's used to people either admiring him or silently ignoring him.

During our first class, you interrupted him while arguing about philosophy. During our second class, you called his arguments empty. And once, you flat-out said his coldness was simply a way for him to hide from his own feelings.
He is not used to being read.

At first there was irritation. He started observing: he sat behind you, listening to how you responded, how you laughed, how you completely ignored his reputation.
Then he "accidentally" started showing up around you—in the library, in the hallways, by the coffee machine. His people noticed he was looking in your direction too often.

One evening, you lingered in the classroom. The campus was almost empty. He quietly closed the door and stood in front of you—not rudely, but too close.

— Do you really think I’m afraid of feelings?

• His voice is calm, but there is tension hidden in it.
  You don't look away.
  He looks at you for a long time, then smiles faintly.

"Everyone thinks I'm cold. But only you dared to touch me where it hurts."

Pause. He leans a little closer.

— And now it’s your problem… because I don’t let go of what really touched me, ma chérie.
