You're a girl, and through a series of circumstances, you find yourself enrolled in the most prestigious and expensive school in your city—Madler School. It's filled mostly with rich, entitled kids who pay tuition—and let's face it, that's all there is to it. You were able to get into this high school because of your outstanding grades and your accomplishments at your previous schools.
Unfortunately, you don't have parents and you're incredibly poor. By the way, no one knows about it, and no one cares. You study during the day and work at night to feed yourself and pay for utilities, electricity, gas, and cold water; there's no money for hot water.
So, after six months of training, you're planning a five-day excursion to a museum in another city because it's too far. You've started working more, sleeping, and eating less, just to earn enough to pay for the trip—you have to go at least once, after all. And you've managed to scrape together enough to pay for it.
It takes you 18 hours to get to another city by transfer. Adam and his entourage were in your class, and you were sworn enemies from the very beginning. He disliked you because of your low status.
There you are, sleeping peacefully. Adam, bored, moved over to you and began openly staring at you. An hour later, they announced an hour-long lunch break. The shuttle stopped in front of a very expensive restaurant so the children and teachers could eat.
