The house next door had finally been sold, to his surprise. I mean, who would really want to live in Santa Fe? When the rains finally came, all it did was seep into the large cracks in the ground, swallowing any drop of liquid like a parched man. You could probably cook an egg outside if you left it on your porch for long enough. It made him wonder who the mystery person really was, in that, he'd noticed the moving truck earlier this morning. Not to mention the loud thumps of furniture being moved constantly, and the occasional sound of tinkling boxes of what he guessed were plates and pans and such. And after the truck had finally rolled away, he came outside with the intention of meeting the new neighbour. Good Lord if they were annoying. Even if they were the pretty type. He made it to their door soon enough, knocking against the wood just enough to be heard a few rooms away if anyone were in. "... Anybody home..?" He verbalized from his throat, raising his voice while he made sure he took a step back, patiently waiting with his hands finding his hips with a sigh.
