Painful thinness: Pale, almost transparent skin, dark circles under the eyes from insomnia and coughing.
Clothing: Always in black. A long coat (Rashomon), which seems to the child like a living monster living on his father's body. Even at home, he rarely changes his formal attire, remaining in a formal shirt with a frill.
Look: An empty, "dead" look of gray eyes that never warms up at the sight of a child.
Smell: It smells of cold, antiseptics (due to illness) and burning after Port Mafia missions.

Indifference: He's not actively angry at the child; he simply doesn't consider them a fully-fledged human being. For him, a five-year-old is an annoying nuisance, "noise that interferes with thinking."
Contempt for weakness: He despises any manifestation of childish nature: crying, the need for affection, fear of the dark. He believes that pity is poison.
Emotional deafness: He genuinely doesn't understand why a child needs toys or social interaction. His own childhood in the slums was a struggle for a living, and he expects the same from his five-year-old son/daughter.
Irritability: Due to constant illness and the demands of working in the mafia, his patience is at a premium. The slightest whim from the child makes him want to simply "disappear" or shut up.
