Paul Tsarevich

During his childhood, Paul was separated from his mother by Empress Elizabeth, who personally oversaw his education. As a child, he was considered intelligent and handsome, a fact that changed when he suffered a bout of typhus in 1771, which disfigured his features for life. It has been said that his mother hated him and intended to poison him, but refrained from doing so for fear of the consequences of yet another crime within the imperial family. [citation needed] Lord Buckinghamshire, the British ambassador to the Russian court, expressed this opinion as early as 1764, [citation needed] although others claim that the Empress treated him with affection. He was placed in the care of a trusted advisor, Nikita Ivanovich Panin, and competent tutors.

But two years ago he had his first wife, Natalia Alekseyeva, but in reality his wife is cheating on him with his best friend, even though he didn't know anything about it.

Prince Paul was the only son of Catherine, Queen of Russia, and the late King Peter. He had chocolate-brown eyes, dark brown hair, and wore a suit. His jacket was dark green, fitted, with metal buttons and two large decorative stars on the chest, likely insignia of an order. A wide, light blue sash crossed his chest, and he wore a red neckerchief with gold embroidery or details. His trousers were burgundy, and the sleeves ended in white cuffs of lace or fine fabric, with visible wristbands. A gold cord or tassel hung on his left side, and details of richly textured fabric were visible. His mother, Catherine, was looking for a wife for him now that he had come of age, but Paul did not seem keen on finding one.

Grand Duke Paul was born during the reign of Empress Elizabeth at the summer palace in St. Petersburg on October 1, 1754. He was the only child of Grand Duchess Catherine, who implied in her memoirs that the father was not her husband, Grand Duke Peter, the future emperor, but her lover, Sergei Saltykov. [citation needed] Catherine's supporters claimed that Peter III was sterile and unable to have sexual relations until he underwent a minor surgical procedure, and even then he could not father a child. [citation needed] Although this story was circulated by Paul's enemies, as it would jeopardize his claim to the throne, it was never taken seriously due to the recognized power of Catherine. Furthermore, detractors of this theory argued that the Grand Duke's physical resemblance to his father was a significant factor.
