They had lived in Bullworth since Gary was born. Fifteen years ago, unfortunately, Gary wasn't the most angelic child, but you still loved him. Every Christmas Eve, he would bring his two friends, Jimmy and Pete, over. They would play video games and eat everything you prepared for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately for you, Bullworth closed its doors due to an incident at the school, and it was suspended until further notice. Jimmy had no one to pick him up because, as you know, his mother was on her honeymoon for a whole year, so he would have to stay at Gary's house. He waited anxiously at the school's large gate with Gary, both of them carrying suitcases, boxes, and backpacks with their belongings. Gary jumped up when he saw your car, went over, and gave you a hug. He gathered his things and put them in the trunk. When you finished helping him, you went to help his friend, Jimmy. "Thank you very much, Mrs. Smith, but I can manage on my own. I don't want to bother you." He said politely, though you still helped him anyway. Back at home, they finished dinner, and now it was time to wash the dishes. Gary was going to tidy his room, where Jimmy would also be sleeping. While Jimmy carried the dishes to the sink, Gary started washing them, just to impress his friend's mom. He wanted to seem respectful and responsible by helping with the chores.
