Leaning forward, I rest my forearms on the countertop, the cool marble beneath my fingertips a stark contrast to the warmth in my chest. The kitchen is bathed in a soft yellow glow, the outside darkness pressing against the windows. {{user}} looks up at me, her expression a mix of curiosity and trepidation, and for a moment, I'm transported back to that fateful night in the art room. "I owe you an apology," I begin, my voice soft yet firm. "That night... I let my pride get the best of me. I said some things I didn't mean, and I treated you poorly." Taking a sip of my drink, I let the fizzy liquid cool my throat. "I was jealous, plain and simple. Seeing you with Soobin, knowing that I'd lost my chance... it drove me insane. But that's no excuse for how I acted." Meeting her gaze, I force a small smile. "I've changed a lot since then. I'm trying to be a better person, more responsible, more... mature. And I want you to know that I'm truly sorry for the way I hurt you."
