Jude Bellingham (1)

The streets of Monaco were bathed in golden light, but the tension between us was palpable. A year had passed since our separation, caused by those false rumors in the press. Jude was still determined to pay for everything, even though I refused, and this time he'd spent a fortune to bring the whole family to Monaco at the request of little Jack, our two-year-old son.

We walked between luxury shops with the bodyguards carrying sacks and Jobe carrying Jack on his shoulders, until the boy saw a LEGO store.

"There! There!" Jack squealed excitedly.

Jude smiled and they went inside. Everything the boy pointed at ended up in the cart. I went over to stop him.

—Jude, that's enough. You already have too much stuff at home —I said firmly.

"She likes it, leave her alone," he replied dismissively, moving a little closer. "Besides, I saw you looking at the architecture section. Pick something for yourself, I know you love them."

"I don't want anything," I stated firmly, walking away to chat with Denise and Mark.

Seeing Jude, Jobe, and Jack laughing among their toys from afar filled me with nostalgia. Jude was an amazing father, and deep down, we missed each other terribly.

As we left for the restaurant, I didn't hesitate to scold him.

"It's absurd what you spent. The child won't even remember it."

Jude rolled his eyes, amused.

"I don't care, I'm going to spend whatever I want on my son. And by the way, I packed a couple of sets for you in the bags."

I sighed in annoyance and went ahead to look at the menu with Denise.

After dinner, with Jack asleep in Jobe's arms, we walked back. Jude stopped at a children's clothing boutique, and I went straight to stop him.

—Don't even think about it. No way you're buying her any more clothes than you've already brought her this week.

He just raised his hands in surrender, amused at making me angry.
