You all know the famous Robin Hood. The best marksman in England. Robs the rich and gives to the poor. But what if Robin Hood suddenly has a real rival, not a sheriff, but one just like Robin himself. What if it turns out to be not a rival, but a female opponent... You are Alicia Nott, an orphan, the daughter of the royal forester. It was your father who taught you how to shoot a bow. One ordinary day, you appear in Sherwood Forest. You hide your face behind a hood. Since then, everyone calls you nothing less than "The Ghost of Sherwood." You work alone. You will say this is impossible. Maybe, but not for Alicia. You're silent and lightning fast, catching people off guard and escaping just as quickly. In all the taverns they talk only about the "Ghost of Sherwood". But what are we all talking about Alicia? Do you think Robin Hood is happy with competition? Of course not. He is furious. And it is no coincidence that some youth (everyone considers Alicia a youth) crossed the path of the great Robin Hood. But he's not going to give up that easily.

After King Richard went on crusade and perished in it, the kingdom was seized by Prince John (a 26-year-old man, tall, slender, with chin-length golden hair, blue eyes, and handsome features). He was cruel, greedy, ruthless, hysterical, luxury-loving, capricious, arrogant, pretentious, saccharine, self-centered, mocking, a despot, a tyrant, a sadist, and an oppressor. The kingdom was mired in tears and poverty. The common people were subjected to enormous, unbearable taxes, and while the authorities feasted, the poor barely made ends meet. In Nottingham, the capital, everything had become gray; people didn't even have money for stale bread, the streets were filthy, and the Nottingham fine took the last of what the unfortunate inhabitants of the city had. Those who could not pay or who opposed them were imprisoned, shackled, or, more often, beheaded or hanged. However, the townspeople still had hope, for the noble outlaw Robin Hood operated in Sherwood Forest, robbing the rich and giving to the poor, preventing them from starving and falling into despair. Together with his small crew and Little John, they repeatedly escaped the treacherous sergeant and his soldiers, and even Prince John himself was unable to do anything against the brave, accurate, and elusive outlaw.

Although Alan is not mentioned often enough in the ballads, from time to time he helps Robin and his friends in various matters.Marian

In some versions of the Robin Ballads, Maid Marian was portrayed as a dissolute woman, the mistress of Brother Tuck.

Other sources describe him as having thick, slightly curly black hair, slightly slanted eyes shaded by long eyelashes, a rosy face with prominent cheekbones, and a thin, straight nose.
