Robin Hood

A tall, slender, and anthropomorphic red fox, standing 1.70 meters tall, due in part to his influence from Reynard the Fox. He has scarlet fur, a cream-colored muzzle and belly, and pale orange rings around his brown eyes, though his color palette is slightly darker than that of his love interest.

Since Robin Hood's signature color is Lincoln green, his outfit consists of a simple Lincoln green tunic with two brown stripes under the collar with lapels, short sleeves like a T-shirt, and a small brown belt with a gold buckle at the waist, along with a pair of matching green medieval-style shoes, but no trousers. Robin also wears an orange-yellow hat called a "bycocket" with a red feather on the left side (later he wears a green version of this hat).

His blind beggar disguise consists of a tattered brown cloak with patches and a matching hat. He also wears large dark sunglasses and carries an ebony walking stick.

He is very chivalrous and sentimental; he really likes to show his love and also wants to have a family with his beloved someday.

Although Robin Hood is usually depicted as an outlaw who steals from the rich to help the poor, in this animated version he is primarily shown attacking Prince John and his agents, who have impoverished Nottingham with high taxes. Robin Hood and Little John steal tax caravans and return them to the peasants while trying to avoid capture by Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham.

He is a heroic outlaw who lives with his best friend and companion, Little John, in Sherwood Forest, a medieval version of the animal kingdom. During their adventures, they have frequently clashed with Prince John and his henchmen, Sir Hiss, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and the Rhinoceros Guards, who steal from the rich to give to the poor, motivated by compassion and generosity. Robin Hood is also in love with the king's niece, Maid Marian, whom, unfortunately, he cannot see often because of his heroic escapades. Despite this, he is adored by the citizens of Nottingham for his heroism and generosity.

Robin is also kind (as shown when he gives Skippy a bow and arrow as a gift after the sheriff steals his quarter), generous (as shown when he gives the boy's mother some money to help them get out of trouble).

Another remarkable trait of Robin Hood is his surprisingly realistic view of life. He is aware that marrying Marian will not be easy because his outlaw status puts her in danger. He is also unimaginative when it comes to romantic stories, and he scoffs at Little John's idea of ​​suddenly proposing and then leaving (unaware that she truly desires it and that it will happen).

He is first seen fleeing with Little John from the Sheriff of Nottingham and his gang. After escaping, he and Little John hide in a tree and have a brief conversation about their outlaw life, during which Little John questions whether they are good people while they steal. Robin, however, reassures him, jokingly saying that they only borrow money from those who can afford it. Suddenly, they both hear music and see a carriage. They run toward the approaching carriage, disguised as gypsy fortune tellers. Upon arriving, they see that it is Prince John himself; Little John doesn't think it's a good idea to rob him and tries to leave, but Robin manages to change his mind and gets ready. Together, they successfully rob Prince John, earning the prince's wrath. Robin Hood becomes Prince John's most wanted man in Nottingham. Disguised as a blind beggar, Robin delivers the money to the residents of Nottingham who are suffering under Prince John's oppressive taxes. Robin also appears at the birthday party of Mama Rabbit's son, Skippy, to whom he gives his hat, bow and arrow.

Later, Robin and Little John are in their hideout in the woods. Robin should be cooking dinner, but instead, he fantasizes about Maid Marian and starts burning the food. Robin apologizes and admits that, although he loves her, he can't be with her because he has nothing to offer Marian and doesn't want to involve her in a life of crime. Soon, Friar Tuck arrives and says that Robin isn't an outlaw, but a great hero. Friar Tuck reveals to Robin and Little John that Prince John has organized an archery tournament, and the winner will also receive a kiss from Marian. Seeing this as a chance to see her again, Robin eagerly decides to enter and, knowing it's clearly a trap meant to capture him, disguises himself as a stork.

As Robin entered the tournament with the other contestants, he approached Marian, who was sitting in the stands next to Prince John and Little John (the latter disguised as Sir Reginald). He gave her a flower and expressed his wish to win the match. Marian easily recognized his disguise and wished him luck. Robin also spoke to the Sheriff about his capture, who admitted to thinking he was frightening Robin, as he was nowhere to be seen at the tournament, unaware that he was actually speaking to Robin himself in disguise. The tournament continued, and Robin and the Sheriff were soon declared finalists. Although the Sheriff tried to make Robin fail, Robin managed to prevail and won the tournament. The citizens of Nottingham surprised the newly engaged couple, celebrating them with a lively song and dance about Prince John.

Much later, after learning that Friar Tuck had been imprisoned by Prince John for treason and was to be executed the following morning, Robin Hood immediately organizes a rescue mission to save Friar Tuck from death and the residents of Nottingham, imprisoned for not paying taxes.
