The Dark Kingdom interprets it this way:
If the heir falls in love with the light, it will lead to the fall of their dynasty.
Therefore, the connection between Rui and Tsukasa is dangerous not only politically, but also magically.

"When the Light extends its hand to the Shadow without fear,
and a heart shining purer than the dawn,
will voluntarily step into the darkness -
then the Twilight Lily will bloom.
And the world will either be cleansed,

The Light Kingdom believes this is a warning:
If the prince gets close to the darkness, the magical balance may collapse.

It gets stronger when he believes in someone.
The brighter his feelings, the stronger the light.

1. "Dawnbreaker"
   A powerful pulse of light that:
   dispels darkness
   cleanses curses
   heals allies
   When he uses this spell, it feels like early morning is dawning around him.
2. "Aura of the White Lily"
   Passive ability.
   Next to him:
   aggression decreases
   poisons slow down
   magic is stabilizing
   That's why he adapted so quickly to the Dark Palace.
3. "Mirror of the Soul"
   He can reflect a spell back if he understands the opponent's intention.
   If there is pure hatred in front of him, the reflection is perfect.
   If there is doubt, the reflection is weaker.
4. "Oath of Light"
   If he protects someone, his magic increases dramatically.
   It can withstand a spell of the highest level of dark magic.
5. Hidden feature
   His light does not burn Rui.
   On the contrary, next to Rui his magic becomes softer, warmer.
   It’s as if the light doesn’t fight, but embraces.
6. "Shield of Light"
   Tsukasa creates a dome around himself that glows a warm yellow. Created from pure soul and spiritual energy, it is considered the strongest shield in the world.

The purer the soul of the owner of light magic, the stronger the magician and his magic.

Heir of the Black Lily
Magic: Dark (High Royal)
General feature
His magic isn't simply destructive—it manipulates the form and essence of things. Rui's darkness isn't chaos, but precision. Surgical, deliberate, elegant.
He exudes a faint, cold aura. In moments of intense emotion, thin, dark threads can appear around him—as if the darkness itself were reacting to his thoughts.

1. "Threads of Silence"
   Rui creates thin, dark threads, almost invisible in the shadows.
   He can:
   tie up the enemy
   control movements
   cut the material
   intercept someone else's spell
   From the outside it looks scary - as if he controls the world like a puppet.
2. "Absorption of Light"
   It is capable of extinguishing the magic of other elements, especially light.
   But this requires concentration.
   If Tsukasa uses magic at full power, Rui cannot suppress it.
   (And yes, this is a beautiful dramatic moment for the future.)
3. "Theater of Illusions"
   Rui can create complex illusions that affect not only sight, but also hearing and sensation.
   He literally builds a stage out of darkness.
   The more complex the illusion, the more tired you become.
4. "Black Lily"
   Rare royal technique.
   He can create a magical black lily flower that:
   drains energy
   casts a curse
   slowly weakens the enemy
   But if you use it often, his own vitality suffers.
5. Hidden feature
   Rui can't stand hurting Tsukasa.
   His magic literally weakens around him.
   The darkness does not want to harm the light that he has chosen.

Since childhood, he's been considered a "scary kid." Quiet, observant, and rarely smiles in front of strangers. He's not mean—he just doesn't know how to express his emotions properly.
He's very intelligent. He grasps magic quickly, especially dark spells. But unlike the other Black Lily mages, he doesn't revel in cruelty. He's interested in the mechanics of magic itself—how it works, how it's structured.
In public, he is a cold and distant heir.
Alone - shy, a little awkward, easily lost in his own feelings.
He fell in love with Tsukasa instantly—not because of her looks, but because of the light. Tsukasa became something impossible, forbidden, and alluring to him. Rui is willing to be stubborn, for the first time in his life, when it comes to him. An introvert.

Kamishiro Rui
(heir of the Black Lily)
✦ Appearance
Tall for his age, with fine, elegant features. His skin is fair, almost porcelain-like, a stark contrast to his dark clothing. His hair is a soft violet-lavender shade with cool turquoise streaks—as if a trace of the dark magic coursing through his blood. His bangs fall over his left eye, obscuring part of his gaze.
His eyes are golden-amber, but in the shadows they seem almost copper. His gaze is calm, intent, a little frightening to those who don't know him well.
He dresses in dark, aristocratic attire: deep violet, black, and navy blue. He wears a high collar, delicate lace, and gloves. He sometimes wears a wide-brimmed hat adorned with ribbons and black lilies—a strange, almost theatrical accent that adds to his enigmatic appearance.
There's always a faint chill about him—not physical, but magical. The air nearby feels thicker.

He's not afraid of dark magic—because he's not used to being afraid of people. Tsukasa believes that even in the darkest heart, a spark of light can be found.

He loves attention and being the "hero of the stage," but his joy is genuine, not feigned. He's emotional, loud, and impulsive—the complete opposite of Rui.
He didn't break down in the tower. He took it as a test. And also... as a chance to get closer to someone he hadn't forgotten in a long time.
Extrovert.

For Rui, he's the only ray of light in his dark life. That's why Kamishiro is sometimes called "Little Star" or "Little Sunshine" by Tsukasa.

Tenma Tsukasa

Golden, slightly tousled hair that literally glows in the sunlight. His bangs softly frame his face. Sometimes he wears it in a low ponytail, twirling it with a white ribbon—a White Lily family tradition.
Her eyes are a bright amber with a warm golden hue. There's almost always a sparkle in them. Her smile is wide and genuine, making everything around her seem brighter.
She wears light-colored suits with gold trim: white, cream, and sky blue. On her chest is a white lily emblem. Her movements are lively, open, and slightly theatrical.
He exudes a warm, soft aura. The magical light around him is almost invisible, but palpable—calm, lightness, a sense of security.
