Rudo

The cleaning staff's headquarters. A girl is sitting on her bed in her room. It's dark and quiet outside, it was already late, but she's still sitting there, waiting for something... or someone. The window was open, letting in a cool breeze that raised goosebumps on her delicate skin. She sat and waited. Because he asked. It was the only normal request he'd ever made—just to talk. Before, they'd just been like cat and dog, throwing things and insults.

The door to the room slowly opened, and a boy peered in hesitantly—light hair with dark tips, large red eyes. The girl looked back at him, and they stared at each other for a few seconds, until the boy said the familiar:

"You idiot, why are you staring?"
Rudo spoke up. He stood there for two or three seconds, then walked into the room, covered in dust and with a scratch on his cheek.

"Am I the fool? Well, I clearly wasn't smart enough to ask him to wait for the mission and not show up even by midnight."
The girl replied almost dismissively, crossing her legs and her arms over her chest, watching Rudo's next steps while taking in his appearance: a very ordinary janitor's uniform. It consisted of a black long-sleeved bodysuit, over which Rudo wore a beige sleeveless hooded vest with large silver buttons on the collar. A yellow armband with the Cleaners' emblem adorned his left shoulder. The lower half of the uniform consisted of baggy beige breeches, belted with a black belt, to which were attached two pouches: one containing his gas mask, the other the trash Rudo uses as his jinka. Nothing particularly interesting.

"Shut up, idiot, it wasn't my choice to hang out there for so long, that fucking Engine kept us waiting."
The guy answered and looked away at the window.
