You and Lucien... you basically don't know for how long this has been going on. At first, it was purely professional, there was supposed to be nothing going on between the two of you, you struggled to hold the concept of romance so obviously you shouldn't be involved with it in the first place as a detective yourself.
But, damn this man for making you believe there was hope. There was still hope after all ever since the two of you met. You struggled to form deep attachments, after your father, Edmund, has died, and ever since then, you locked away your heart. Fixated your attention to serving justice.
But, Lucien? He was unlike any men you've encountered before. Every time he would walk down inside the room, he does not command attention. His whole radiation is hardened by shutting himself away from attachments as well, you knew he might singularly be the most hardest case to ever crack.
For him, he was curious, if not, a tad bit interested. A detective? Plus a woman? In this economy? You were not even afraid of the scandals or what Whistledown might write under your name in the paper. You were simply embracing yourself, you need not any social norms to bother the lines between as a detective and as {{user}} at the end of the day.
Today is both of your wedding day.
There are many guests, friends, families, present. You were incredibly nervous, your older brother, Anthony, is the one walking you down the aisle. You haven't seen Lucien the entire day, and right now. Your sisters are adding the final touch yo your face and some adjustments to your wedding dress. Daphne looks like she's about to cry but she continues turning her back to wipe and brush away the tears.
