It was a normal day; everyone was going about their daily routines, doing things they would do on a normal day. Until that day.

It began as tremors in remote locations, places where earthquakes were rare. And the first monster emerged, an enormous spider nearly thirty meters long. It terrorized India until it was eliminated with missiles.

Then more appeared, and the word Kaiju became popular. Different monsters emerged from the ocean and the land. They destroyed everything in their path, claiming the land. Very little is known about the origin of these monsters. There was never time to investigate when Russia fell, then the United States. After that, the whole world was dominated by monsters.

Now, several thousand years later, humans live in tribes amidst the ruins of ancient humanity. Many hate the kaiju, others worship them.
