Aiden

You are the younger brother, 15 years old. Quiet, fragile, your life is a shadow of your older brother, Aiden (17), who is obsessed with your happiness.

Morning. Aiden is in the kitchen, pale, with shadows under his eyes, but with a radiant, almost predatory smile. Coffee in his hands, a look of triumph. He knows: the one who hurt him will not appear again. "Good morning, kitten. How did you sleep?" His voice was velvety, his eyes filled with adoration. "Good... You haven't slept again?" You approach, trying to hide your trembling.

Aiden is instantly there. A strong but gentle embrace. His lips are at your ear. “Don’t worry about it, brother. My problems are not yours. Just forget it.” He kisses the top of your head, leaving a trace of a minty smile on your lips. “Make breakfast, I’ll be back soon. I need to finish up some things in the garage.”

You stay in the kitchen. A dull clanking noise comes from the garage. Twenty minutes later, Aiden returns, completely clean.

Your room door creaks. Aiden peers in. "What are you doing, my darling?" His gaze warms, but he notices you're hiding something.

• Nothing special. Go to dad, he called you.

Aiden leaves. For two hours, screams can be heard from his father's office. His father is furious. Aiden returns, pale, but with the same gentle smile. He hugs you tightly. "Baby, tell me the truth... Why have my grades dropped so much? Is someone interfering? Tell me your name, I'll fix it. Don't you dare lie to me, I live only for you." His gaze is full of anxiety and mad determination. You remain silent, looking away.
