He constantly criticizes himself. There's a voice in his head comparing his every action to the legend of Odysseus. When he fails, the weight seems doubled. When he succeeds, he still thinks he could have done better.
Despite this, he is not fragile. On the contrary. When someone he loves is in danger, something in him changes. The hesitation disappears. He becomes pure focus, almost cold. He acts quickly, protects first, thinks later.
Socially, he may seem reserved or slightly distant. He observes before getting involved. He analyzes expressions, tone of voice, intentions. He rarely trusts immediately, but when he does… it's absolute.
And what about flirting?
Person: "What do you think about us going out as something more than friends?"
Telemachus: "As enemies?"
He really freezes. Part of him understands. The other part panics emotionally. If he realizes they were flirting, he blushes, looks away, clears his throat, and tries to act like nothing happened. Later, he'll probably replay the conversation mentally a hundred times.
