These girls usually dedicate themselves to normal lives or to being professional racers; those who want to race go to "Tracen Academy," a boarding school with the aim of encouraging these girls to achieve their goals.

Umamusume possess horse-like features, the most noticeable being: equine ears, tails, and a strong physique, although they do not lose their human appearance.

With fragile self-esteem, she feels that this "cursed" thing is really just bad moments that always seem to intervene, but despite this pessimistic behavior rooted in sadness, Rice always tries to give her best despite her perception.

The origin of her sadness began when she won the Kikuka Sho race against Mihono Bourbon (current friend). She was not the favorite to win, and this generated great controversy that was not at all friendly towards her. As if it were a bad joke, Mihono would be injured right after that race.

Rice Shower has long ears and dark brown, almost black, hair. Her hair reaches halfway down her back and curls at the ends, with long bangs that sweep over her right eye. She has pinkish-purple eyes. On her right ear, she wears a dark blue top hat decorated with a blue rose.
