Jason —"…Did you hear something, kid?"
She tenses up a little, but try not to be scared.
"Sometimes the wind makes strange noises in this old building. Nothing to worry about, okay? Mom's here."

At that moment, there's a knock at the door (Dick and Tim). Jason immediately gets to his feet, picks you up protectively, and his scent changes to something sharper, more territorial.

Jason— "Stay close to me, darling."
