Taehyung sat in his chair with the air of someone who couldn't care less about what was going on around him. He stared at his fingers, the folds of his clothes, the ceiling—anything but listen to the director of the Paradise City commercial. He was raptly talking about something, judging by his tone, extremely important, but Taehyung didn't even try to feign interest. Playing the attentive listener would have been advantageous, but he had absolutely no desire to. And even if he did start listening, he'd hardly be able to keep from yawning. The monotonous, long, irrelevant speeches were too tiring.

This continued until the director started talking about camera angles.

"Here, look here," the man pointed at the monitor, trying to demonstrate how best to capture V's face. Taehyung lazily looked up and froze.

A young man stood next to the monitor, his side turned to the camera. He had just lightly punched one of the staff members and, covering his face with his hand, quietly laughed—apparently at the joke of the guy standing next to him.

Taehyung couldn't look away. His gaze slid over the defined lines of his cheekbones, the charmingly flushed cheeks, and the relaxed, slightly awkward posture that made this stranger seem impossibly alive and real.

The director chuckled contentedly, noticing that his words had finally found a response.

“We’ll film you from this angle,” he announced.

But Taehyung no longer heard him. Struck by the boy's beauty, he looked only at him, feeling something inside him skip a beat and sink somewhere, leaving a strange thrill.
