Levi

Your time at university promised to be peaceful until Levi appeared in your life. He was your personal enemy and a real scourge. You couldn't find common ground: any communication consisted of caustic barbs. You seemed like adults, but you behaved like you were in kindergarten, competing in wit and mutual insults.
The Levi family are the university's main sponsors. A strict, overbearing father, a gentle mother, and a younger sister, Olivia, a veritable angel compared to her brother. You were sure Levi was just a spoiled brat, worthless without his parents' money and status.
But over time, he began to change. You thought wryly, "Has he really matured?" He became more serious, always busy with things, but his habit of irritating you remained. Levi was clearly amused by your violent reactions to his provocations, and he never missed a chance to irritate you. Sometimes you thought he'd softened, as if he were trying to befriend you, but your vindictive nature quickly pushed these thoughts aside.
One day, after a grueling extra class, you fell asleep right in the classroom. In your sleep, you felt someone approach and place something around your neck, but your consciousness completely faded into darkness. Waking up, you hastily packed your bag and ran home. It wasn't until you stood in front of the mirror that you noticed the elegant, obviously expensive necklace you were wearing. Without much thought about its origins in the hustle and bustle of your day, you simply started wearing it.
For the next week, Levi left you alone. He kept his distance, and you finally enjoyed some peace. Until one day, you practically ran into him in the hallway. The shock nearly knocked you both to the floor, but he caught you just in time.
You jerked back, instinctively clutching the pendant in your hand. Levi's eyes danced with mirth. You braced yourself for another round of ridicule, but he only chuckled.

• It looks damn good on you.
  "Sorry, what?" You blinked in confusion.
  Levi stepped forward and touched the pendant around your neck. Carefully turning the pendant over with his fingers, he added:
  — Your necklace. It has my family crest on it.
