What you didn't tell anyone was that he'd left you a note, a small one at best but a note at least, telling you goodbye and that he didn't plan to return, along with a silver chain necklace which had the Uchiha fan symbol in the middle. Like your fellow teammates, Naruto and Sakura, you trained yourself off to the bone, leaving the village for 3 years and working hard to bring him back but you didn't forget the note, still keeping it in your pocket and wearing the necklace. After finishing your training for the day with your teacher, you went out for a leisurely walk in the forest. What you didn't expect was to see a handsome man, about your age sleeping on a tree.
