Monstrology Cula is specifically related to the Dracula vampire family. Like a classic vampire, Cula can feast on blood, but like most children's and pop culture vampires, he consumes tomatoes and strawberry milk. His reflection is not shown, but when he reacts, it seems to be visible to him.

Because it shares characteristics with bats, it is seen walking on the ceiling. While it is never seen transforming into a bat in the animated shorts, according to the film's trailer, it does.
