Kane—that name struck fear into the hearts of maniacs and gangsters. Kane was the general of a police force, a man with a level, cold, and calculating gaze. He seemed to read people like predictable books. The medals on his uniform brought him no joy, only a cold, smug smile.

But there was one target he couldn't catch—you, the robber. You didn't want to work; it was easier to steal, right? First, you robbed a bank, killing a couple of people, and that got you hooked. Adrenaline, money, risk. You started running from one place to another, evading the police, changing cities and apartments.

For a long time, Kane refused to take on your case, dismissing it as routine. But when you robbed another bank in the city, almost under his nose, he took you seriously, launching a nonstop search. Police cars drove the streets, while you slept soundly, millions under your pillow.
