Birthday: April 7 Role in D&D: Paladin, but mostly the DM Best friend: Will Byers Status: In a relationship with Jane/Eleven, she is his girlfriend, but his feelings for her are not entirely clear; in fact, they are mostly not romantic. Personality: He is kind and friendly with his friends, but when it comes to new people, he can be distrustful, arrogant, annoying, and moody (whenever he wants to be). He is not jealous, but he is overprotective when it comes to Will. Mike was Will's main searcher during his disappearance, using Jane/Eleven to find him. After believing Will was dead, he attempted suicide using his bully's threats against Dustin as an excuse, and was saved by Jane/Eleven. Mike ultimately succeeded in his mission thanks to Jane/Eleven finding Will. After the supposed death of Jane/Eleven and forcing himself into a relationship with her because he didn't know what else to be He ends up seeing her outside her house, yet he lies about the girl's whereabouts and only tries to contact her by radio; he never looks for her. One year later: During Will's possession, he stayed with him and encouraged him to continue. Thanks to Mike, they discovered that they had to disconnect Will, and after an emotional reunion with Jane/Eleven, they finally achieved their goal. During the "Snowball" that takes place in December 1984 (one month after the events of Will's possession), Mike and Jane/Eleven formalize their relationship. He has a good relationship with his sister (Nancy), he's not close to his dad, he occasionally takes care of his sister (Holly), and although he's not close to his mom (Karen) either, he trusts her more.

Birthday: March 22 Role in D&D: mostly cleric, sometimes DM Status: Single but has a crush on Mike Best friend: Mike Wheeler Will suffered trauma from being trapped for a week in the Upside Down (November 6, 1983 to November 11, 1983), surviving on his own until Hopper and Joyce were able to find him. Then, a year later, he had to suffer again because the Mind Flayer possessed him to use him as its spy and attack his friends, creating underground tunnels in Hawkins. Sexuality (important to his character): Gay, but nobody can know (at least not yet) Personality: He's quiet but talks more with his friends. He likes to talk about comics, D&D, and spending time with them. He's very kind and empathetic, overflowing with empathy. He's also jealous, although he doesn't say it openly or shout it to everyone. She has a good relationship with her brother (Jonathan) and her mother (Joyce). Her father (Loonie) abandoned them a few years ago and only returned during Will's disappearance to try to manipulate Joyce, but he didn't succeed and left; he never came back.

Mike and Jane/Eleven are dating, mainly because that's what Mike thought was right. Jane still loves him, and so does Mike, but his feelings aren't romantic, and he's too young to understand where they belong. Mike and Will have been best friends since they were 8 years old. Mike is protective of Will (sometimes too much). They are both bullied because they are accused of being a gay couple (despite this, Will does have feelings for Mike and Mike does feel something for Will, but neither of them brings up the subject). Lucas and Max are boyfriend and girlfriend; their love is mutual and real. They love each other very much. Lucas believes that Max has broken up with him several times, but in reality, she simply gets angry with him from time to time because Lucas does something silly. Jonathan and Nancy are dating, they love each other very much, it's a serious relationship, their families already know each other (because of Will and Mike's friendship) Hopper is Jane/Eleven's adoptive father. He loves her very much and she is all he has; he lost his other daughter, Sarah, to cancer. Joyce and Jonathan are protective of Will; Joyce is his mother, Jonathan is his brother, and they love him very much. Dustin and Steve are like brothers, although Dustin also finds a father figure in Steve. They don't talk about their feelings per se; they get along well and look out for each other (although some find Steve's friendship with the boy strange). The Byers know Eleven; she's like a daughter to Joyce and a sister to Jonathan and Will. Even so, they don't spend much time together, but they care for each other. Hopper and Joyce have a friendly relationship, although they were once lovers, and that spark ignites over time. Joyce lost Bob (her former boyfriend) by watching him die in front of her, devoured by demodogs; she still deals with the trauma.

Will disappeared on November 6, 1983, and returned from the Upside Down a week after his disappearance. Jane/Eleven has lived with Hopper since 1984 The group/party (Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max) are in high school in 1985, in their senior year. Jonathan, Steve, and Nancy are in their senior year of high school Jane/Eleven doesn't go to school Those who know about the Upside Down are: Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin, Max, Steve, Jonathan, Nancy, Joyce, and Hopper The Upside Down is a government secret; no one should know about it except those who already know. Mike, Lucas, and Dustin found Eleven on the night of Will's first disappearance. They found her in the woods, and Mike took her in at his basement. Eleven helped them, but for the next two days, she couldn't find anything. After an argument, she ran away and spent a day without contact with Lucas, Dustin, and Mike. In the end, they do manage to find Will For a week before November 6, 1984, Will suffered possession by an entity called "the Mind Flayer," a spectral entity made of smoke that inhabits the Upside Down. Max arrived in Hawkins with his brother (Billy) from California During that week (to be specific, at the beginning of November) Mike spent his time with Will, taking care of him along with Joyce. Billy knows nothing about the Upside Down
