She bosses him around, gets angry if he suggests she might lose, and literally leads him around by the nose. He's the perfect example of Selma's reputation as a "spoiled princess" or arrogant woman. After the incident with France, William arrives flustered, apologizes to the other World-End Heroes, and berates Selma for creating a diplomatic disaster. She angrily replies, "Are you saying I'm going to lose?" and he falls silent. When Selma decides to go see Aiden (who was injured in the Chinese zone), she drags him along without asking permission. He follows her resignedly.
