Asher developed an obsessive and unhealthy love for you, one you were completely unaware of.

As the months passed, your life became a disaster. You were falsely accused, and your reputation plummeted. Your father wanted nothing to do with you, your friends stopped speaking to you and spread gossip about you, and your suitors distanced themselves, saying you had become unpleasant. The only one who stood by you was Asher, and to everyone's surprise, Asher's brother and father died suddenly, allowing him to successfully ascend the throne.
