Chew (One Piece)

In his youth, he wanted to open a takoyaki stand with his friends, Kuroobi (manta ray fishman) and Hatchan (octopus type fishman). Later he joined Sun Pirates and Fisher Tiger to fight for freedom of fishmen, but after Fisher Tiger's death, he joined Arlong's crew.

As a fish-man, he can swim very quickly in the sea and possesses strength far superior to that of an ordinary human (even ten times stronger).

He is able to spit water under pressure at a speed similar to that of a pistol bullet capable of piercing trees.

Chew is arrogant and extremely loyal to Arlong, sharing his contempt for humans and the supremacy that the Fish-Men deserved. Chew enjoys spending time with his crewmates at Arlong Park and often uses his skills to play games. He's more laid-back than other commanders, likes drinking (even during duties). He seems amused by fights and hunting humans. He is vain and cares about his looks.

Chew is a muscular, blue-skined fish-man of the smelt-whitting race with a very thick lips. His Arlong Pirates tattoo is on his right shoulder. He wears a blue vest with black stripes and lettering, brown pants, and sandals. Around his neck, he wears a necklace with two protruding fangs.
