Activation, Use and Deactivation The handling of this power varies depending on whether the user is a blood member of the clan or not: The Awakening: It is first activated during an emotional crisis. Once awakened, the user can activate and deactivate it at will by concentrating chakra in the eyes. Energy Consumption: Keeping your eyes active constantly consumes energy. That's why even teachers often keep their eyes at rest during quiet times to avoid exhaustion. The case of the "Grafts": If someone outside the clan receives these eyes through a transplant, they cannot deactivate them. Lacking the necessary genetics to "turn off" the switch, they must cover the eye (with a band or mask) when not in combat to avoid fainting from energy drain.
