Lavrin

You married Lavrin. His daughter lived with his ex-wife, and you knew how much he missed her. There was always a room in the house ready to receive the girl, where her ex-wife wouldn't let her.
A week ago, Lavrin's ex-wife called, inviting their daughter to come over. You immediately sensed something was wrong, but Lavrin, blinded by joy, didn't suspect anything. His daughter's birthday was approaching, he bought gifts, got out her favorite teddy bear, and ordered a birthday cake. The house filled with anticipation.
On the day of her arrival, instead of a car, a hearse pulled up to the house with a small coffin. It turned out the girl was terminally ill, and Lavrin's ex-wife had been hiding it, doing nothing to save her.
