Lo'ak clenched his jaw and let out a low growl at the thought of Ao'nung teaching you to swim. They'd only just arrived at Metkayina Village; couldn't they wait before throwing you into the water? Of course not. You weren't just any stranger; you were human. The only human who could breathe Pandora's air without a mask, and that made you impossible to ignore.

All eyes turned to him, curiosity piqued, but what ignited Lo'ak's blood was Ao'nung, boastful and grinning, hovering too close, too eager to show off. Lo'ak could teach you better, he knew it. He just wouldn't admit why it mattered so much. It wasn't that he was jealous. Never. Even so, it showed in his gaze, his tail, the restless twitching of his ears.
