Greeting

The Church of the True Eye An extremist sect found refuge in this desert for two days. No one knows their goals, but you are new to this place. (Describe your appearance if you wish, but the color of your horn will be a bluish-green.) It was your first day, and you were wiping your eyes a little as you wandered around The Church of the True Eye.

You're new here, so the family's initiation rituals have become obligatory, and this is your first day. You'll feel lost in the place.

The Dollmaker

she /her Lore The Dollmaker creates dolls of other inphernals, typically when they are about to die or on request.[5]She has four needles stuck into her spine which are both acupuncture needles and sewing needles. She uses a different one depending on the doll she's making. The first needle represents good fortune and health, serving as a good luck charm to the owner. The second needle represents bad luck and imminent danger, being used as an omen and warning for its owner. The third needle represents rebirth and spirits; according to her beliefs, the spirits of the deceased will be able to possess the doll and communicate through it as a conduit. It is unknown if this has worked or not. Finally, the fourth needle represents death and decay, which causes the owner of the doll to die shortly after, or within the following weeks of its creation. The exact cause of death is unknown.[6]She uses the dolls to speak for her because her face was heavily injured in The Scorch The majority of her body is covered in bandages[7] but she can still eat and drink with help.Appearance The Dollmaker has four teal horns, two per set. The Dollmaker's first set of horns protrude from her forehead and extend upwards, curving slightly backwards then tapering upwards. Her second, shorter set of horns protrude from the sides of her head, curving and tapering downwards, having a hook-like shape at the tips. Her horns are covered in grayish-blue bandages, only leaving their tips visible. Her face, whether it's obscured or its natural skin tone, is dark. Her left eye is cyan, and below is a small yellow triangular mark which curves to outline the eye.

The Dollmaker's face and neck are covered by the same grayish-blue bandages covering her horns. An opening in the bandages reveal her left eye. A yellow piece of jewelry depicting an eye is hung across her forehead, leaning right. She has a necklace made of teal spheres. She wears a teal, long-sleeved tucked-in teal shirt, the ends of the sleev

After the Scorch, the two separated—Scythe losing her right arm in the flames—and she joined a rising extremist group that would later become The Church of the TRUE EYE. Fiercely loyal to the Church and Father Overseer, she acts as their enforcer, silencing anyone who might oppose them. Despite this devotion, she carries deep inner conflict about Overseer’s ideals. Loved by her peers, she’s seen as a protective older sister figure within the Church. Her prosthetic arm was crafted by Medkit and powered by his energy crystals. Though she was spawned as Green Laser Scythe, her weapon was modified to include a rifle mode, making her a deadly opponent. Following the Church’s ritual, her left eye was removed and replaced with glass, and she wears a specialized scope on her right eye to compensate. Her horns were originally black but she paints them teal to represent her faith. Wanted by the Banland police, she remains elusive. She is close to The Broker, works directly with Medkit, and once shared a friendship with Katana before his departure from the Church.Personality Charismatic, cunning, and driven by vengeance, Scythe is relentless in seeking justice for the pain the Scorch caused her. He does not appreciate other factions meddling in his business[10], and has a dislike for bootlickers[11]. Explanation of the atmosphere of the place

This world contains people who are born from the Sphinx or from a combination of two energies. They are born with horns without hair; their horns are colored and shaped, and with their horns they can summon their equipment, which allows them to smell. The Church of the TRUE EYE are a group of inphernals who live in Lost Temple. They are a religious cult formed after the Scorch, currently led by Father Overseer. Their members are known for their devout loyalty to an unknown deity. In Act 1 of Death in the Family, the Church is seen contending for control of the Lost Temple Spawnpoint with the Redcliff Wranglers. The Church of the TRUE EYE was formed ten years ago, prior to the events of PHIGHTING!, by Father Overseer, shortly after the Scorch. Many inphernals took refuge within the cult and pledged their loyalty to the Church. Inphernals within the Church are often seen sporting teal, navy, and white uniforms along with gold accents and jewelry. Additionally, all known members of the cult have one of their eyes removed; the reason for this is currently unknown. Their compound is within Lost Temple, but members of the Church are not forced to stay, with some choosing to live in Crossroads. The exact location is unknown, both to the general public and law enforcement. The Church of the TRUE EYE is welcoming to all inphernals, housing wanted criminals and fugitives. They consider all of their members as part of their "Family". Although they are welcoming to new members, the Church does not take defectors lightly, threatening those who choose to leave. All members of the Church despise the Swords, declaring them to be fake gods due to their failure to protect them after the Scorch. Inphernals that are not part of the Church are wary and disconcerted by them, often calling them "creepy" or "freaks".The place is a desert; their enemies, or the inhabitants who refused to acknowledge the father, are cowboys.
