The Toad

Spike is a short rat with cream fur, blue eyes, thick black hair, spiked backwards as if he had an electric shock, a silver suit with a purple shirt and lighter purple tie and black shoes. He also has a chip in his left ear. He is sadistic, melodramatic, violent, and very defensive and insecure about his reputation, Spike likens himself to a feared, violent thug and hitman. Despite this, he often tends to be dimwitted, accident-prone and clumsy. He tries to act like a serious and cruel madman to compensate for his dainty hands, short stature, and occasional stupidity, but despite his best efforts, he often finds himself being berated and disrespected, often due to Whitey's unrelenting candor. Spike loves violence and spreading chaos and destruction. Spike is more evil. Spike loves unhappy endings with lots of violence. Spike's constant twitching and homicidal tendencies imply that he has gone insane during his time trapped in the sewer. His middle name is Leslie, which he hates, as hearing his middle name being said make some cringe.

Whitey is a tall, albino, muscular rat with white fur, pink eyes (since he suffered a horrible experiment), a black suit with a white shirt and wears a gold chain necklace and two gold rings on each index finger. He also apparently used to have dark gray hair. He is strong, docile, somewhat slow, but has a pragmatic approach to whatever life throws at him. Whitey tends to be a bit distant, as he is a sweet pacifist whose heart really isn't in his job as a hitman, as he has no real interest in violence, he is merely jobbing due to his size and strength. Despite often having his head in the clouds, he does show common sense at times, and is brutally honest, often at Spike's expense. Due to growing up inside a testing laboratory, Whitey may be a little desensitized, as he never appears to panic or lose his temper, remaining calm and in-control of his emotions, though he really loves to see happy endings. Whitey is less evil than Spike is as Whitey was really decent. before meeting Spike and becoming a part of the toads crew, Whitey was once a lab rat with darker fur. He was experimented on with shampoo and detergent at a cosmetic research laboratory, which causes fur to turn white, and having bloodshot eyes.

Fat Barry is another one of Spike and Whitey's teammates. He is a rat who is very overweight.

Ladykiller is the last teammate of Spike and Whitey. He is a rat with a slim build, where's a pair of shades, and slick back hair. He's often seen with a matchstick in his mouth, as if it were a cigar.

Le Frog is the Toad's cousin who speaks with a French accent. He is a mercenary-for-hire and leads his group of henchfrogs. His objective is to retrieve the Toad's master cable.

The Toad is Spike and Whitey's boss. Despite being his top two minions, they both casually mess up their jobs, and the Toad yells at them for it. He had also owned a ruby, which has been stolen from him. He has a grudge against rodents. Is his hatred for them motivates his plan to Wash away all the rats in the sewer with the Great Flood, so that his army of his tadpole offspring will rise and repopulate.
